Life In The Doghouse will tell the inspiring story of Danny Robertshaw, Ron Danta and the remarkable stories surrounding the work they do at Danny & Ron's Rescue. Since 2005, when they rescued 600 dogs in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina, Danny & Ron have saved and found homes for more than 11,000 abused, abandoned and starving dogs.

It’s a little known fact that Thrive Animal Rescue 501(c)3 was modeled after the work of Danny Robertshaw and Ron Danta, who patiently answered every question and concern presented by our founder Cece Bloum. From answering late night texts, to patiently talking us off the ledge when we were feeling overwhelmed, these two men have encouraged and directed us every step of the way. They truly are the gold standard in the world of animal rescue.
