Chase would love to spend the rest of his life in a happy home that can give him lots of love. Chase is 10 years old and sadly has been with his owner since he was a puppy, but needs a new home due to his owners health issues. He loves everyone but needs to be introduced slowly to other dogs.

Downey is excited around dogs, he shows tremendous interest and is easily amped by dogs at play nearby, but he hasn't had much experience here yet regarding actual socialization due to his neuter surgery, and then kennel cough. Will further evaluate as his stay continues, but he is friendly to dogs, does well once over the initial excitement in the pack walk context, and hasn't shown any aggression. Our only concern socially for Downey is that he may come on too strong for some dogs and not take good context clues socially, so he would do best learning to meet new friends one on one instead of in a park or off leash beach scenario. With time and practice this may settle down.

Available through @Thrive Animal Rescue after he completes his training program on 7/3, Downey is looking for an active home that will continue a healthy development for him with daily exercise and training. Downey is a goofball and a ham, he's very puppy-ish in that he is excitable, wants to play, puts things in his mouth that he sometimes shouldn't, and is easily distracted. Through our board and train program we are building in to Downey some awesome life skills that will help him with focus and impulse control, he walks well on leash and can hold a nice down/stay, but he is a little bit of a unique learner and will need someone understanding who will enjoy continuing to bond with and guide him. Downey knows come, sit, down, out (leave it), heel, follow, to wait at doorways, kennel up, and place (down/stay).

We will train adopters on Downey's commands and training tools when a match is chosen.

JR is a sweet Black & White English Pointer.  He was recued from a neglectful situation and is in need of his furever home.  He is about 7 years old and weighs 55 lbs.  He is neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated.  He is healing from some concrete wounds on his legs and paw and is a little thin.  Other than that, he’s in excellent health……he’s super happy to have love and attention.
He is crate trained with the door opened and closed.  He loves his crate….he loves to have blankets and toys in his crate with him.
He loves other dogs…he kind of does his own thing when outside in the pack.  He doesn’t bark.  He loves to run…he is super-fast.  JR is a really good boy.

This gorgeous little one is approximately 8 weeks old. She will probably be a med-large sized dog. Her mama weighs about 40 lbs. Dad is unknown but she looks like a Golden Retriever.
