Care & Training
Coco Worrell attended the Western University of Health Sciences, where she specialized in Applied Animal Behavior. Her expertise and knowledge are invaluable qualities when it comes to evaluating and placing dogs into the environment which best suits both their needs and those of the adoptive family.
In addition to being adept at animal behavior, Coco has proven to be our in-house birth doula when we rescue pregnant mama dogs in need. Often times these animals come to us in very bad shape, having suffered malnutrition, overbreeding or a host of other maladies. Having someone on staff to assist with everything from birth to bottle-feeding has been a godsend.
We rescue puppies and dogs that have been shown little or no love and it fills our heart to help them understand they will never have to fear again. Coco’s experience and behavioral training help her to apply health and science in helping these dogs to move forward into their new lives.
Coco is available to all Thrive adopters for consultation and training.
